Local Bar has been a North Carolina landmark since the building originally opened as a gas station in the 1930’s on a small country road in Apex. Over the years the gas pumps turned to beer taps, the small country road into US 64 and what had been The Little Bar for most of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s became Local Bar. We are still a place where locals gather for good times, cold drinks and live music. So stop by ’cause here everyone’s a local.
